Job N° 042Worcester, MA

Photographed on site

The 1940s mast was rotting through and the panel was an FPE Stab-Lok the homeowner couldn't get insurance to cover. We pulled the permit, coordinated the utility disconnect, and had the new service energized the same afternoon. Solar string came online a week later.

§ 07FAQ

A few things people ask.

Q.

How fast can you get out for an emergency?

+
A.

Two-hour response across central Massachusetts on most weeknights and weekends. The 24/7 line goes to a real licensed electrician, not a call center. Same-night dispatch in southern NH and northern VT depending on travel.

Q.

Do you charge for estimates?

+
A.

No. In-home walk-through is free, and you'll have a written quote within 24 hours. We'll tell you on the phone whether your job needs a walk-through or whether we can quote it from photos.

Q.

Are you licensed in all four states?

+
A.

Yes — Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont. Master electrician license numbers are listed in the footer and we can email copies on request.

Q.

Do you pull the permits?

+
A.

Always, when a permit is required. We pull, we schedule the inspection, and we don't disappear if the inspector finds something — we come back and fix it on our dime.

Q.

Can you install my Tesla wall charger?

+
A.

Yes — we're certified on Tesla, ChargePoint, JuiceBox, and Wallbox. Standard install is a dedicated 240V/60A circuit on a 50A or 60A breaker, and we'll handle the Mass Save / state EV-rebate paperwork on your behalf.

Q.

How much does a panel upgrade cost?

+
A.

Placeholder — typical 100A → 200A upgrade in central MA runs in a defined range that we'll quote after the walk-through. Cost depends on mast condition, grounding state, and whether the utility needs to be disconnected. Free estimate either way.

Q.

Will you work with my general contractor?

+
A.

Yes. About a third of our work is sub-to-GC on remodels, additions, and ADUs. We can join your weekly job meeting, integrate with the construction schedule, and coordinate with framer/drywaller/HVAC.

Q.

What areas do you serve?

+
A.

Massachusetts (Worcester, Boston, Springfield, the Cape), New Hampshire (Manchester, Nashua, Concord, the Seacoast), Maine (Portland, Lewiston, Bangor, southern coast), and Vermont (Burlington, Rutland, Brattleboro, Montpelier). Travel charges may apply outside the MA/NH border zone — we'll tell you up front.
